BBQ safety gas fuse

Every summer, there are the usual spate of accidents and near-misses that occur around the backyard barbecue. to help avert disaster, Gasfuse is a pocket-sized safety and gas-measurement device for use with bottled gas.

To be fitted between the gas cylinder and the regulator, this Australian-designed and patented gadget works like a safety switch to completely shut off gas supply from the cylinder or gas bottle in the event of a major leak. It is the only gadget to guarantee 100 percent gas shut down.

Its easy-to-read gauge also indicates when gas content is getting low, saving unnecessary refills and taking away the worry of running out gas during a big cook-up. When in place, Gasfuse detects the smallest of leaks and, through internal flow dynamics, will power a mechanical shut-off apparatus. Aside from the safety aspect, in stopping the gas, Gasfuse also protects the environment from hydrocarbon emissions.

I bought my gas fuse months ago and put it away when gas rushed out when I turned on the gas. Had another go at connecting it for the summer and to try and work out what went wrong and gas is just gushing out somewhere.
