Imagine a butcher's shop only open on Saturday! Or more accurately - imagine being able to shop with huge savings at a meat supplier which deals with top restaurants on weekdays. Haverick Meats, established in 1985, is the result of tradition and passion passed down through several generations. The chefs they supply care deeply about the source of the meats for their menus, and Haverick finds the best countrywide. It's the same cuts and quality that people can buy at the weekend. The Saturday Store is open between 8am and 2pm at Haverick's Banksmeadow premises, and as an added inducement, there is always a free wood-fired, open-flamed, rotisserie style Argentinian BBQ showcasing roast beef, pork, lamb, chicken and chorizo.
When those cool room doors open every Saturday at 8am the team of master butchers are on hand to help shoppers with the best cuts of meat, slicing meat to order and suggesting the best cooking methods. There's everything from marble-scored beef (grass-fed, grain-fed, dry-aged and wagyu), veal, lamb, pork, poultry, game and cured meats, all sold at prices well below regular retail price. |
