Make your own gin

Have you ever had a 'wish I could do that' moment?

Now there is a way to make something very special using just this kit and a bottle of vodka - and it took a Tasmanian company to think of this, and make it work!

The Tasmanian Gin Kit contains everything you need to transform a simple bottle of vodka (purchased separately) into delicious artisan Tasmanian gin! It's easy to create small-batch infused gin at home by using a blend of juniper berries with hand-picked Tasmanian botanicals.

Each kit includes a custom designed stainless steel strainer, silicon funnel, filter cloth, unique glass gin bottle, juniper berries and two Tasmanian-inspired botanical blends to try (each kit makes 2 x 700ml batches):

Mountain Blend – using seven different botanicals including pepperberries grown on a former Tasmanian bushranger’s farm, rosemary from southern gardens, and lavender from iconic Bridestowe Estate, this infusion creates a rather soft and subtle experience with a distinctive gin juniper-y core.

Ocean Blend – complemented by wakame seaweed from the pristine waters of Tasmania’s South East Coast, petals from heritage roses and five other distinctive botanicals, this makes for a crisp, aromatic experience with a smooth taste.

These blends have been meticulously created and tested, drawing from the same ingredients as those used by local award-winning commercial gin distillers.

Now you may have your own piece of magic from Tasmania, using botanicals grown from some of the world’s cleanest air, most pristine water and fertile soil.

There is only one more thing to do: serve your artisan gin paired with tonic and garnished with a lemon or lime wedge.
