Bondi Harvest

Beachy Bondi shares its tasty side. Australian audiences will revel in the chance to get their New Year’s resolutions off to a delicious start with simple, healthy meals from Bondi chef and online sensation Guy Turland in his first foray into television with Bondi Harvest, premiering 7.30pm, Monday 8th January on Food Network.

Filmed in one of the most iconic locations in the world, Bondi Harvest sees Guy open the door to his beachside lifestyle to share some of his favourite seasonal recipes and little-known local secrets.

Throughout the 10-episode series, Guy, a local chef, surfer and free diver will showcase his healthy, fresh and simple cooking inspired by the Aussie beach lifestyle.

The series will feature recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks: from classic Aussie barbecues to café quality granola at home, Guy demonstrates how easy it can be to make better food choices without sacrificing on flavour, and still have time to go for a surf!

Host Guy Turland said: “I’m absolutely stoked to be taking our Bondi Harvest baby to the prime time airwaves on Food Network this January. We’ve loved creating each and every one of these tasty but good-for-you recipes and are so excited to share them with the world.

“Creating and building this brand has been an absolute treat to call a career. It’s been packed with fun and laughs, and some challenges too, and we can’t wait to take Australia along for the ride!”.

Guy and the Bondi Harvest team have been creating beautiful, informative food content with a sun-kissed, beachy twist for the past four years, predominantly airing on social media, earning them a massive global audience on YouTube amassing more than 3.5 million views across hundreds of short-form recipe and lifestyle videos.

Training under some of Sydney’s best chefs including Peter Doyle (est.), Guy is a trained chef who splits his time between Bondi and another iconic beach – Guy is currently Executive Chef at the Bondi Harvest café in Santa Monica, California. Guy is also an accomplished author, with his new cookbook, Balance: The Australian Wholefood Cookbook (HarperCollins), available now.

Bondi Harvest, created by Bondi Harvest, is Food Network Australia’s third original local content premiere, following Andy & Ben Eat Australia and Born to Cook: Jack Stein Down Under in 2017.

Bondi Harvest double episodes air 7.30pm and 8pm, Mondays from January 8 on Food Network, Australia’s only 24/7 free foodie channel.
