The Five Minute Gallop |
Wildbrumby Schnapps Distiller Brad Spalding is the face of the FiveMinuteGallop, a new initiative to raise awareness of year-round travel opportunities available in the Thredbo Valley and surrounds. The FiveMinuteGallop encompasses the Thredbo Valley, Kosciuszko National Park, and the Thredbo, Perisher and Charlotte Pass ski resorts. It's a lush alpine environment that includes mountain retreats, restaurants and resorts. "The Snowy Mountains are part of our national culture." says Brad. "The FiveMinuteGallop provides practical information on how to experience the Snowy Mountains year-round." The idea for the initiative came from visitors to the distillery. While enjoying lunch and a schnapps tasting, they'd seek advice on the Snowy Mountains. The FiveMinuteGallop is a collection of that local knowledge in print, on the web and in video. "Of course, the area is fantastic for skiing. If you are planning a ski holiday, off-the-hill activities can make the difference between a good ski trip and a great one." Visit the FiveMinuteGallop website and see FiveMinuteGallop videos on the YouTube video channel. |
