Airpocket - a traveller's new best friend

Frequent travellers, or even those who only sometimes travel by air, all need a way of keep the most important things close at hand.

The founder and creator of AIRPOCKET, Trish Smith, realised this some years ago when her dream began. Since then she has been designing and altering, fund-raising and promoting one of the most useful items you will ever take away on a trip with you.

Already available to preorder before its predicted February 2016 release, AIRPOCKET is going to solve a lot of Christmas present headaches, as well as inflight scrounging in the seat pocket and under your seat as you fly.

OK, AIRPOCKET may look like just another bag to juggle, but it is so much more than this.

SEE HOW IT WORKS ON THIS VIDEO.........

The clever and endlessly versatile 'pockets' inside the bag make it possible to stow so many items within easy reach in the seat-back pocket.

The AIRPOCKET has internal pockets and dividers that help keep your things organised and protected. They are designed to be flexible and accommodating, so that there is a place for whatever you want to put inside your AIRPOCKET.

Like these items needed for a flight whether you may want to read or work.

The AIRPOCKET is 25cm deep but the two slim pockets are just 15cm deep, so you can put smaller things such as your phone or ear-buds in without them slipping out of sight, down the to bottom.

Two more compartments are open to the bottom, and are perfect for the AMENITIES CASE, e-readers or novels, smaller i-devices (such as the iPad Mini or Samsung Galaxy tablet) or packs boxes of crayons for the kids.

This leaves the rest of the AIRPOCKET open for larger items - the TRAVELBOOK fits easily, as does an iPad, a larger novel, a magazine (up to 22cm x 27.5cm) or a child's colouring book. Slightly bulky items such as a set of noise-cancelling headphones in a hard carry case can also fit inside the AIRPOCKET because the neoprene dividers flex and bend around it.

And of course it is the ideal way to keep all your child's precious things together.

Because the entire AIRPOCKET (A$74.99) is made with neoprene, which is flexible and slightly stretchy, the pocket dimensions should be taken as a guide only. For example, the larger compartment, which has 3cm sides, can fit a travel guidebook (2.5cm) plus a Kindle in its case (2cm) plus a couple of muesli bars. The internal pockets can handle something slim, such as an iPhone or something bulkier, like a tube of hand-cream or a small jar of vegemite.

**Of course, if you fill it up with too many bulky items, you run the risk of it not fitting easily into the seat-back pocket...

But then you could always pop it under the seat in front, or tuck it in between you and your arm-rest.
