Golden Pig New Zealand tour

There's going to be a lot of good food consumed later this year in New Zealand. How do we know this?

Katrina Ryan, owner and head chef of Golden Pig Food & Wine School will be leading the next Golden Pig Food & Wine Tour from March 17th - 26th, 2018.

Katrina has teamed up with fellow foodie and New Zealand restaurateur Vivienne Farnell, owner of Non Solo Pizza in Auckland and ‘Poderi Crisci’ Winery and Restaurant - Waiheke, to create a 10-night luxury, epicurean tour of New Zealand’s finest.

This will be a select tour of New Zealand, with guests staying in luxury accommodation and focusing on hand-picked regional food and wine experiences, with a little bit of walking, cycling, cooking, kayaking and optional golf, thrown in to work off the calories!

The specially selected itinerary features a list of inspiring highlights including - two nights on Waiheke Island with lunch at Poderi Crisci and staying at Baywatch Estate; two nights in Hawkes Bay including a cycling tour of the wineries and accommodation at Summerlee; three nights exploring Marlborough and staying at Chateau Marlborough; one night in Christchurch and a visit to Pegasus Bay Winery.

Then it's on to Queenstown in time for a private cellar tasting and lunch at the famous ‘Trust the Chef’ - at Amisfield Winery, with overnight accommodation at the beautiful Rees Hotel. To end the tour the final day features a wine tour of Central Otago including Mishas and Mt Difficulty - dinner at the Botswana Butchery.
