Striking looks and avant-garde architecture in this Slovakian fantasy hotel with its colourful facade is a rarity anywhere, let alone in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava. They offer fairly priced accommodation in one- to four-bed rooms, plus a dormitory. There is also an apartment with two floors and three terraces for groups. This includes a pyramid-themed meditation area for relaxation. Known locally as the "Butterfly House", Hotel Galéria Spirit is a five-minute walk from the train station and about 15 minutes walk from the historic Old Town area of the city. The hotel themes itself around wellness, with a number of nutrition supplements offered to guests.
The rooms are individually designed and guests have the opportunity to experience firsthand the relaxing effect of modern abstract paintings in the rooms, which were selected on the basis of a positive impact on the human subconscious.
