Rich in beauty and with a culture that stems from one of the world's oldest civilisations, Jordan offers ruined Roman cities, Crusader castles, desert citadels and powerful biblical sites. Nestled on the banks of the Dead Sea - the lowest and most salient point on earth at 423 metres below sea level, the Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa will house 420 rooms and suites. The resort is located just 30 minutes away from the country's capital, Amman, and 45 minutes from Queen Alia International Airport. Architecturally impressive with its distinct circular shape, the neutral colors of the décor reflect Jordan's natural vegetation and mirror the indigo blues of the Dead Sea and earth-toned rainbow of the Kingdom's desert land.
The resort is also covered with over 60,000 square metres of Italian marble and tiles, and each resort chalet is named after ancient cities and villages in Jordan. Surrounded by mountains and set against the backdrop of the 'floating' Dead Sea is the resort's Thalgo Spa, a tranquil space offering 30 treatment and steam rooms, three hydrotherapy pools, a beauty salon and fitness centre. |
