Margaret River Gourmet Escape is coming up later this year and already has events planned for every occasion and preference. Billed as the perfect weekend for you to gather your foodie friends and family for an epic weekend of food and wine, it is scheduled for November 16-18.
A quintessential Australian Gourmet Beach BBQ with your favourite culinary idols. The Gourmet Beach BBQ is one of the signature events of the festival and this year’s line-up has a beachside food and drink celebration for everyone.
Inside an old barn, feast on whole cuts of meats cooked over the flame, and sip on Leeuwin Estate wines. Jerry Mai will prepare a Vietnamese Whole Hog feast; Jeremy Chan a West African-inspired BBQ and Jake Kellie, an Australian BBQ.
Lovers of food and wine will relish a taste of two iconic events. During the day, enjoy the delights of the Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate Winery and as the sun goes down, White Elephant café will be the place to be for Sunset, Beats and Bites.
Join Australian Chef Luke Mangan and WA favourite Tony Howell for an intimate dinner at Cape Lodge. A celebration of West Australian produce, with a menu highlighting the flavours of local beef and lamb accompanied by wines from the Margaret River region and commentary from Mauro Bortolato. (Sommelier, Glass Brasserie, Sydney).
The event is planned to offer a buzzing world of culinary excitement and the perfect opportunity to experience the top-class delights the region has to offer, and all whilst watching your culinary heroes take on the main stage! +++ |
