Singapore celebrates |
The invitations are out. Singapore wants everyone to join the thousands coming together on August 9th to celebrate the Nation's 47th birthday at Singapore Flyer!?On weekends leading to the parade, Singapore Flyer has presented a range of events. But the fun won't stop on the anniversary! Every weekend of August, the first forty-seven people who say, "I love Singapore" at the Singapore Flyer ticketing counters will be rewarded with a FREE Singapore Sling flight upgrade! (With purchase of a full-priced adult flight ticket). Many other exciting and attractive offers awaits all too. On 9 August, activities such as Hip Hop dance performances by Hopstacles and the Tug-of- War "Power of 8" clinic will definitely keep you and your friends & family entertained all day long! Those present will feel the Singapore spirit come alive at the Singapore Flyer, as people proudly recite the Nation's pledge during The Pledge Moment 2012. Whether with fellow Singaporeans or international friends, they can enjoy the "Live" screening of the parade and catch the National Flag Fly-Pass and other National Day highlights at Singapore Flyer. Those who fancy aerial views of the parade, can take a flight on the world's largest Giant Observation Wheel for a viewing experience like no other. Let the celebrations begin!
