Fullerton to the fore |
Happy birthday lovely Singapore! Singapore Bicentennial 2019 marks the 200th anniversary of Sir Stamford Raffles' arrival in Singapore, allowing the Lion City to reflect on its rich and diverse history. With a raft of exciting events located in and around The Fullerton Heritage Precinct, some key events are taking place during the Bicentennial celebrations.
Apart from offering prime position to explore all the action of Bicentennial, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore offer a selection of complimentary Heritage Tours open to hotel guests as well as the general public.
Both hotels also offer Fullerton Experiences, a bespoke programme allowing guests an insight into Singapore’s vibrant culture and unique culinary experiences, such as a heritage cuisine cooking class. Exceptional culinary journeys continue at the iconic Clifford Pier located in The Fullerton Bay Hotel (above), which hosts a Heritage Afternoon Tea from 3:30 p.m. onward, Monday through to Friday with a menu that draws inspiration from Singapore’s diverse culinary influences and offers a taste of the city’s authentic flavours.
Guests of both hotels can enjoy a wide range of arts events from 16 May to 2 June, 2019 when the Singapore International Festival of Arts celebrates creativity. |
