Offbeat Ireland

You may be in Ireland, but standing on the rooftop terrace of Helen's Tower, feeling on top of the world with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, visitors can see as far as distant Scottish shores. There's just one double bedroom in this self-catering place, but it is well-placed for walking routes, known locally as Clandeboye Way (Helen's Bay to Whitespots Country Park). Other places of interest include Ava Gallery, Ireland Off Road Experience, Andrew Jackson Cottage and US Rangers and Clandeboye Estate.

The Forest Domes180° transparent walls, are a bubble which allows you to truly immerse yourself within the beauty and tranquility of nature. Escape the noise of the outside world and enjoy stargazing in comfort for an unusual romantic break in Northern Ireland. It may be almost out-of-doors, but each dome features a bespoke four poster bed, ensuite bathroom, Nespresso coffee machine, fluffy robe and slippers and daily breakfast.

Riversdale barges are a modification of the traditional narrowboat. The old ones were restricted in width by the narrowness of the old industrial canals, but these boats are widebeam barges, widened to 10 feet (3.1 metres) giving greater living space and comfort and allowing users to navigate the Irish Inland Waterways, The Shannon Erne Waterway, The Shannon River and Lough Erne with peace of mind.  It also provides the space for two independent bedrooms with the third bedroom in the living area being private at night. A spacious and comfortable seventh berth barge is also available.
