| Cheese (rolling) is off in Stilton |

If you have heard about cheese-rolling in Stilton, a city in Cambridgeshire, England, and always wanted to see it - or even take part - you may be too late.
This bizarre event began over fifty years ago, and entailed teams of people pushing or kicking a huge 'wheel' of timber (meant to represent the famous local cheese) a certain distance.
However, this year the cheese-rolling has been cancelled due to administrative 'concerns' about the safety and security of participants. In 2018 there was no event, and who knows if it will happen again. Many, who enjoyed the fun-day are probably feeling truly 'cheesed-off'! |
