Fancy a night or two in a futuristic dome in an ancient landscape? Torres del Paine National Park is a windswept wilderness of breathtaking beauty – a land of jagged granite peaks, verdant forests, flowery meadows, azure lakes, sinuous rivers and glaciers Up close yet cosily protected at the same time, you will enjoy a very special experience at the Eco Camp in Torres del Paine National Park. Boy scout/Ranulph Fiennes style camping it ain't - you'll be warm and cosy after your day exploring the park's wilderness landscapes. In addition to the functional standard domes (with shared bathroom), there are larger, ensuite and well-furnished domes.

Accommodation is in ensuite igloo-type tented domes, inspired by native Kaweskar dwellings. Their structure produces minimal environmental impact while providing an efficient thermal and wind resistant unit, and makes the most of the magnificent Patagonian setting. Décor makes use of fallen trees or branches, collected leaves and feathers - bringing the surrounding nature indoors. From this base there are a number of excursions and treks which can be undertaken with fully-trained guides. |
