The colourful stories told by their self-taught artistic owners may include quotations and sometimes humorous stories. It is an art form that entertains as well as transports its passengers.
Like an art museum on wheels, these drivers are never short of ideas, and their brilliant colours brighten the streets.
Of course there's a marketing incentive as well. These pictures grab attention and act as a moving billboard in a country where it is vital to stand out in order to survive economically. |
