Compiled by award-winning food critic, author and MasterChefUK regular William SitwellThe Really Quite Good British Cookbook is keenly anticipated and a stunning object in its own right.

  • Rick Stein fries up shrimp and dill fritters with ouzo.
  • Yotam Ottolenghi would serve pea and mint croquettes.
  • Jamie Oliver opts for his unrivalled Happy Fish Pie.
  • ... and many more contribute to the feast.

These are just a few of the incredible recipes provided by the best and brightest on the British food scene, including names such as Raymond Blanc, Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsay, Tom Aikens, Antonio Carluccio, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Delia Smith, James Martin, Nigel Slater, Thomasina Miers, Mark Hix, Jason Atherton, Claudia Roden and many more.
