Agog at Magog |
Themed retreats allow your imagination to run wild. Mira Mira in Victoria, Australia, is situated on 22 acres of bush land, and is a collection of three self contained, 2-bedroom fantasy retreats where guests have an opportunity to 'Live in Art". First there's The Cave. By entering the doorway in the mouth of Magog and descending the winding steps lit by fire lanterns, you will find yourself in an underground world of intrigue and surprises yet with magnificent views of the ranges from its picture windows that have been carved in to the hillside.
The Japanese Zen Retreat was influenced by the styles of the Kyoto Palace. Nestled at the base of a gully it has been built by a tranquil pond with only the sound of frogs and kookaburras breaking the silence, the setting for a relaxing getaway.
Tanglewood - Enchanted Forest, is a residential sculpture nestled amongst the trees. Influenced by the Spanish architectural artist Antoni Gaudi and by the colors and shapes of the Australian Bush, guests enjoy an opportunity to "Live in Art" transported to another world where straight lines do not exist and where color knows no boundaries.?? |
