Trivia: The country was considered as the "granary of Rome". It offers a component of dishes and varied dishes, depending on the region and according to the seasons. The cuisine uses cereals as the main products, since they are always produced with abundance in the country.

Trivia: Antigua was first settled by archaic age hunter-gatherer Amerindians called the Siboney or Ciboney. Carbon dating has established the earliest settlements started around 3100 BC.

Trivia: There are several theories about the origin of the name "Panama". Some believe that the first settlers arrived in Panama in August, when butterflies abound, and that the name means "many butterflies" in an indigenous language.

Trivia: The Dominican flag is the only one to have a bible in it. Adopted on November 6, 1844, this is one of the oldest flags in the world. It has its roots in the Haitian flag of the 19th century.

Trivia: Did you know Russian soldiers are reported to have seen the Abominable Snowman or the ‘Yeti’ in the Pamir Mountain ranges? The legend of the Yeti still exists in Tajikistan today.

Trivia: The place of the First Salute to the United States of America. On November 16, 1776 Governor Johannes de Graaff of St. Eustatius returned the salute fire of the visiting American brig Andrew Doria by firing the cannons of Fort Oranje, thus becoming the first international country to  acknowledge  the independence of the United States.

 

Latvia 18 November (Declaration of independence from Russia 1918)

Trivia: On September 7th, 2012, the Latvian Drift Association set the world record for most cars doing donuts simultaneously. One hundred and seven automobiles performed the stunt in the Bikernieki Sports Complex, near Riga, Latvia’s capital.
