Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort

Escape to secluded luxury against one of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. The majestic Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara in the United Arab Emirates has revealed an exclusive collection of ten royal villa accommodations located in a secluded setting named the Royal Pavilion Villas by Qasr Al Sarab.

Sitting atop a crescent-shaped dune in one of the most astonishing landscapes of the Liwa Desert in the Empty Quarter – the world’s largest stretch of uninterrupted sand desert, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort offers 154 guest rooms and 42 villas, with the addition of ten Royal Pavilion Villas each resembling majestic palaces with spacious living and dining areas, private pools and outdoor terraces. The resort is a haven of comfort and pure extravagance with desert views, interiors of warm, earthy hues, which are accented by locally hand crafted furnishings immersed in the splendid heritage of an ancient fortress.

Signature touches include exclusive transport from Abu Dhabi or Dubai Airport to the resort (guests can choose from private limousine or helicopter transfers, the latter at an additional cost), and a traditional UAE falcon experience upon arrival. Guests staying at the Royal Pavilion Villas by Qasr Al Sarab will also be welcomed with a traditional Arabic tea tasting and Arabic inspired afternoon tea set,  a personal escort to their Royal Pavilion Villa, all followed by a relaxing foot ritual.

There are ten fully self contained pool villas complete with swimming pool, outdoor rainforest showers, sunbathing cabana, terrace dining and lawned areas as well as the main Pavilion which features Porte Cochere, a welcome Lounge, The Dining Room, The Lounge, The Terrace, The Workout Room, The Spa and an impressive outdoor area.

But wait, there's more! Flat screen TVs, sound systems, IT, personalised bathrobes with guest initials, butler pantry, as well as individual villa BBQ’s designed by Neil Perry, the Australian chef and restaurateur.

On arrival, guests are encouraged to meet with the chef to talk through their preferences, hear details about the ‘market list’ items fresh for the day and have a tailor-made culinary journey created exclusively for them. From the freshest Canadian lobster to Japanese Wagyu beef to simple club sandwiches, whatever guests’ culinary desires may be, can be created for them by a team of highly skilled chefs at the resort.
