To showcase authentic travel experiences in Austria, the Austrian National Tourist Office has created a new and smart little helper: a FREE SmartPhone Application. Called "Austria. Unique Like You� the SmartPhone App, which is available for iPhones, Blackberry as well as Android phones, is designed as a personal guide to extraordinary travel experiences in one of the world's most exciting travel destinations. Find one of a kind suggestions and ideas for discovery and exploration beyond the ordinary. An easy slider system allows you to get travel information based on your interests, introducing you to authentic, traditional and innovative experiences throughout Austria. The app is not only designed for the pre planning stage, but is also a handy tool while in Austria. The 'Near me' feature ensures that you can easily access sites around you using your GPS. Augmented Reality (AR) shows you sites close-by when using the camera function on your phone. An audio guide teaches you the most important phrases in typically Austrian dialect to make sure you'll be able to order your Mélange (Espresso with milk topped with milk foam) at a typical Viennese coffeehouse. Sample experiences include off-the-beaten-path wineries and wine taverns, amazing restaurants, unusual museums, shopping information, family attractions.
