Secret Retreats has invited Luxury Health Retreats (LHR) to put together specialized programs that combine health, discovery, and luxury at some of Secret Retreats properties.

Luxury Health Retreats are more than just a holiday; more than just a relaxing spa experience; more than just a packaged tour. The fitness program activities will include morning bootcamps, beach exercises, outdoor yoga classes, treks, educational health seminars, health-oriented cooking classes, as well as optional rejuvenating spa packages, cocktail cruises, and exquisite sunset dining experiences. The cuisine during the events will be health oriented and reflect the local tastes and flavors.

One of the first Secret Retreats properties to host LHR programs will be Tugu Bali, Indonesia situated on a pearl grey sandy beach and stretching along the green rice paddies to the small fishing village of Canggu. Displaying over a thousand exquisite antiques thoughtfully displayed around the property, this luxuriant resort is nestled amidst tropical gardens and features an excellent spa and cuisine.

There are several Tugu Hotels which each aim to keep the rich cultural heritage and the romantic, thousands-years-old history of Indonesia alive. The lifelong passion for Indonesian arts and history of the owner and proprietor, Anhar Setjadibrata, is showcased in the properties. When he was a young poor medical student in the 1960s, he began collecting Indonesian antiques. His passion then grew to become a family mission to bring back to life the art, soul and romance of Indonesia, and to introduce them to the world in a package of dreamy landscapes, atmospheric interior and arts that transports guests to another world of ancient kingdoms and quixotic legends.

Each Tugu is designed, built, and managed personally by the owner’s family without outside architect or interior designers, as each of them is a work of love. Secret Retreats is a fellowship of passionate owners opening their doors to share their love and legends.
