This is definitely not for those with fear of heights, or the habit of sleepwalking! You may have seen pictures like this and thought it was a prank pic, but it is for real.
Located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, Cusco, Natura Vive has created an amazing mountain adventure for people without any experience. The fearless can try the seven zipwires (ziplines) or climb a rock face with the Via Ferrata, a type of steel ladder and cable system to climb up the 300 meter cliff face, and then zipline the mountain. Imagine one night at 400 metres closer to the stars, in Skylodge Adventure Suites. One Tripadvisor comments says 'The suite itself is situated 1,200 feet above the sacred valley floor and allows an unobstructed view in all directions. The bedding beats any five-star hotel. The service: a four-course gourmet meal served complete with wine, coffee, tea and homemade pie. Touchable stars, comets so close they seemed like an illusion, deafening quite, the mountain breathing a slight wind, the moon lighting the white sheets—it was truly magic.'
To descend, next morning, you have the option of a 100 metre rappel or by means of seven interconnected Zip Lines. The two activities can be experienced separately or as a combination for a full day adventure. |
